Good colour wool selling well. Poorer colour fleece & lambs easier.

South Island only selling today with 10,260 bales on offer.
The selection consisted of 59% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 6% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 13% lambs fleece mainly good colour, 12% associated oddments average/poor colour, 6% merino and 4% halfbred types.
Good colour wools still well supported. Average to poor colour easier due to an increase in supply on previous weeks. Main competition for good colour was the United Kingdom and Europe with the sub continent in support. China mainly focused on the poorer colour fleece and shears with continued support from the Australasian carpet mills.

Average/poor colour crossbred fleece up to 2.5% cheaper.
Shears
Good colour crossbred shears firm to sellers favour.
Lambs
Good colour lambs 1% cheaper.
Oddments
Crossbred oddments all descriptions firm.
