Comment

South Island only selling today with 7,050 bales on offer.

The selection consisted of 62% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 11% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 12% lambs fleece mainly good colour, 12% associated oddments average/poor colour and 3% miscellaneous types.

Main competition for good colour wool was the United Kingdom and Europe, China and India again strong competition mainly on the poor colour fleece and shears.  Continued support from the Australasian carpet mills.

Good colour lambs firm.

Average/Poorer style also firm.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments firm to sellers favour.
