Market mixed with minimal movement.

Comment

North Island only selling today with 9,690 bales on offer.

The selection consisted of 23% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 31% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 37% lambs fleece mainly good colour, 7% associated oddments average/poor colour and 2% miscellaneous types.

Main competition for good colour was the United Kingdom and Europe again with the sub continent showing good support. China still mainly focused on the poorer colour fleece and shears.  Continued good support from the local & Australasian carpet mills across all styles.

Good colour crossbred fleece 1% dearer.

Average/poor colour crossbred fleece sellers favour.

Shears

Good colour crossbred shears 1% dearer.

Average/poor colour crossbred shears sellers favour.

Lambs

Good colour lambs tending buyers favour.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments all descriptions generally 2% cheaper.
