The Schneider Group offers tops and open tops for the worsted and woolen manufacturing industry.

We comb wool in Italy, Egypt, Argentina and China. Our combing mills process wool of 10.5 to 30+ microns.  

We offer wool certified according to different internationally recognised standards such as the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) or OEKO-TEX^® STANDARD 100. For our Argentinian wools, we can also offer Carbon Neutral Wool Tops with and without RWS and GOTS certification. 

In addition, our office in New Zealand offers greasy and scoured crossbred wool.  

All of our greasy wool is sourced locally by our purchasing teams in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, and South Africa.   

Our GOTS certified organic wool from Argentina can be easily traced from the grasslands in Patagonia along the entire supply chain all the way to your company as it is processed in our own GOTS certified combing mill in Argentina. 

The Schneider Group directly manages over 20 RWS and GOTS certified farms in Argentina, making us one of the largest single producers of organic wool tops worldwide. Our organic wool is always mulesing free. Due to the sanitary conditions in Argentina, there is no need for mulesing. 

We also provide carbonised wool and noils from our carbonising plant in Egypt.
